Japan’s Famous Spas – the Joys of a Hot Spring
日本の名湯 源泉の愉しみ

Winners of the Photo Contest and the Visitors’ Caption Award Get One Each

Hot springs can be found all over Japan and many of these are known as meitou (renowned hot springs). These bath salts make you to feel as if you’ve been transported to one of Japan’s hot springs without leaving your home. The idea is to “transform your bathtub into a hot spring” and with this in mind a thorough in situ analysis of composition, texture, appearance, and aroma was carried out at a few carefully selected hot springs. The product is the result of a hot spring cooperative project. Each pack weighs 30g and contains ten different varieties. Price: 1,000 yen.
